If the subject isn't broached, as you mentioned not planning to do, it shows you respect her and her commitment.
Without it being mentioned, at most, she may sense your appreciation of her, yet, humans being humans, second guesses and may plant in her mind the platonic sense of your tutor/ tutored relationship.
