with no actually chemistry beyond text and images people are left with only those to rely on. typically in a real life setting people will have some kind of vibe or connection physically, offsetting any superficial physical appearances many times. As I've said if a heavy, but atttractive lady approaches me and is flirty, friendly and nice to me I will notice and pay attention but online people don't have that option and you're left with just the view.
