I don't know any other way then to just say.......I think I am depressed and need help.
I would hope your mother would try to help you get that help. Even if she cannot understand she can be supportive and help you get what you need. she can also educate herself about it. As you say she loves you and want what is best for you but often feel powerless in how to help. Education can solve that.
