If you are having doubts about it or about going face to face with someone for therapy, you could try online therapy and see if it works for you. Yeah I have tried a bit of self-help CBT, which seemed to help a bit but i found it too difficult to constantly uncover the specific events and thoughts that trigger my anxiety. I would like to get therapy of some kind, preferably involving CBT but the major obstacle is that for face to face therapy I'd probably have to tell at least one of my parents and for online therapy I don't have enough privacy for a webcam session. Maybe if it could be conducted just by typing I could probably manage that but I've never heard of that kind of therapy being available. Maybe it wouldn't be practical I don't know.
