I just saw the open post [don't drink and text your T]
Can not be sure how folks will relate to this but I thought I would put it here anyway.
Back in February I was feeling a bit low. Had not been in therapy for 6 months.
After getting myself out of bed at 10.30 am I switched on the phone.
Three emails and a text. The text was a notice that I had a voice mail.
'Wha me a voice mail' was my first thought.
So I listened... carefully.
two minuets and 30 seconds it lasted. The limit on my voice mail calls.
The voice I did not know for sure. It went like this hello...pause.... go on...pause and bleep this bleep that and so on, another pause.
shocked I was and worried about who I managed to upset so much.
I hit the redial. Got a voice mail... 'name of person I was calling and asking to leave a message. I was dumb struck when I heard the name.... dumbstruck.
I mumbled a bit and asked for her to call me back.
Ten minuets later I called again. Another message on her voice mail.
Half an hour no word back. Two more calls from me to her voice mail.
Panic was ensuring by now and I was literally shacking.
Then after the fourth call in which I was trying to sound calm I kept it short and honorable. About 10 seconds after that I had a text alert about a voice mail. She smartly waited for my fourth call to call me back knowing she would get my voice mail.
It was T. I am not making this up.
In the space of about 20 seconds she mumbled on about her son using her phone to try and call her and ended up calling me.
She did apologies but only just.
She thought I would fall for that.
Her son was on the phone I believe that to be true and once I listened again for the fourth time, it made since. Her son [older boy] was trying to get his young brother to say something to the phone. Boys messing about if you like but he knew who he was calling!!!
She did not ask what the lad said to me or what was going on.
She appeared to want the whole thing to go away.
Then 6 weeks ago I went back to her. Planning on asking her about it but could not get myself to do so.
She for all the world was her usual unobvious self.
I hoped she would have at lest asked what happened. They never do, do they.
Its always us that have to bring up a subject or start talking about some thing.
Anyhow any one else have a crazy story to tell about their encounters.
Lots of love.
