Just do the work that is in front of you for that day, as gayleggg said. If what you need to do today is study, then set aside time to do that to the best of your ability. That is all you have to do.

By the way, when you do get to nursing school, you are going to find that many, if not most, of the students are older. Nursing is a second career for a lot of people.
