I can understand your frustration as I share it. Unfortunately, I don't know about specific meds related to memory other than I know fish oil has helped some that my pdoc recommended. Meds for treating my underlying MH issues has helped in some aspects of my memory improving by making sure those things alone are not clouding the issue; however, I also have had to learn, especially for my really poor working memory, to use external cues to compensate for it such as in using lists, reminders, alarms, and notes. I have also started to use Luminosity lately, which I noticed has made a difference as well in several aspects of my memory and attention.
Counselors/T's, pdocs, and neuropsychologists can have good suggestions on how to improve this. Perhaps a consultation to discuss your concerns would be beneficial, especially with a referral to a neuropsychologist for testing and help; this is their area of specialty. They can also help that if there are documented deficits, if/when you go back back to school, that learning support/disability services will be available to help you with your studies to provide accommodations that you may need and make for a better school experience. They can also make suggestions not only for school but a work environment as well.
I am sorry that I cannot be more help than that. I wish you well in finding the answers that you seek and as you move forward.
