Jinny, I have gone privately. Waiting 2yrs for a bit of CBT isn't really worth it. Can you afford to go privately? My gp also told me 3yrs ago that I needed to start to help myself. I could have punched him there and then! I didn't. Since going private I have found the help I needed. Hope things work out soon for you.
