why not start with a simple distraction like a funny movie from redbox or netflicks if you cant afford the theatre. a walk in the park taking time to feed the birds your stale bread. think back to the things you used to enjoy and try out a few of those and see if any of them don't bring you joy again. I know it is difficult to engage in activities when depressed but it is important to engage in them anyway and keep at it. your brain will benefit. take care.
