I have had similar things happen with my dream life and my wakeful life. It may be meds. It may be normal part of learning from our dream state. Perhaps thinking first thing in the morning when you wake up "what did I dream last night?" and let a quick little review happen will help.

Deja vu and dream memories can give us warnings, information and something funny to talk about.

We may worry about our sanity when a dream seems so real that it is hard to tell from wake states but listing our dreams, reviewing our high points of our day as we go to sleep, and looking for physical sensation clues can sure help. Swallow, breathe, curl your toes, touch your face and feel your physical body and space.

I sure hope it gets easier for you. Let us know what the doc says.
Hugs
