Jess, if you were pregnant, it's true you might not know until your period time came, and you didn't get it, but you might get other signs. It's been a long time since I read about the when and what signs during pregnancy, but you might want to look for information, if you wanted to recognize those signs that might occur in the first few months.
I prefer pills that keep me from having a period for three months. I was never on a pill pack set up that way, though; I just had to skip the placebos that came with my packs, and go straight on to the next pack, not skipping a week. So many people didn't understand that I was going from one pack to the other, without skipping the week. Women really should know about this, even if they don't want to do it, because some of us want to wring their necks when you explain it clearly, and they still think you're taking the pills like normal, only not taking the placebos, and just skipping a week.
