I wouldn't worry about age, I have had classes with people as young as 17 and as old as 65. Education is such an important thing and is always valuable.

Are you taking the HESI or TEAS? I originally went to school for nursing before I changed majors and went back. We took the HESI here, it wasn't as bad as I was expecting it to be.
