(((((((Jan)))))))) Have you ever seen the cheesy movie "An Affair to Remember"? The original one, with Cary Grant and Deborah Kerr? I'll watch anything Cary Grant's in, no matter how cheesy, but this one, even for someone from America's Dairyland, is at the top of the Cheese-o-Meter.

Deborah Kerr has this line that has always struck me, though. It sends the Cheese-o-Meter through the ceiling, but at the same time, it's always resonated with me. Her line is, "Winter must be cold for those with no warm memories."

I know it is not even remotely close to being the same as having the person in your life, but you have memories of George to keep you warm. Cherish them.

You've been through so much lately -- I'm so sorry things keep piling up. You're in my thoughts.

Love, Candy
