Not religious.... but I agree, some songs irrespective of what your own beliefs are can be very uplifting. there was one song that I loved well before it clicked 'this is about god' and still loved it

Haha! Yeah, I love Weird Al too.... for a guy that has been churning stuff out since the 80's (I think?) he has aged really well and still has kept the creative juices flowing. Love the saga begins! Thanks for reminding me

Haha, got to admit I do have a bit of a soft spot for American country... probably part credit to my Mum who had a crush on Kris Kristopheson when I was a kid heh... would play all kinds on the record player.
I remember hearing a song while in China (odd place to hear it but yeah) by Chris Cagle... was thousands of miles away from my girlfriend for the year (we're married now) and this song helped
