Oh, hey... thank you, Rio, I hadn't thought of that. Interestingly, I'm already very familiar with diaphragmatic breathing--as a singer, I can't live without it!

Still, I hadn't thought of it as a way to counter a panic attack, but as I think about it the way you breathe when you're afraid or panicky really does make the feelings worse. I'll try it next time I'm freaking out... but let's hope I never have to! ^.^
