I woke up to my mom screaming, who had found my cat, dead in our window because he got one of the blinds in-between his collar and neck, choking him to death. I had to free him, cutting his collar off from which he hung for hours. He's body was stiff and paws were blue. I was in shock and my whole body was trembling. The smell of him made me sick. The sight of his body haunts me now. How long did he hang there, why did he not cry for help? Its almost as if he committed suicide.

I had him for 13 years. I am sad he is gone, but more sad in the way he went.
