I tried to moved but I couldn't. I opened my eyes and saw a dark figure above me. Before I could scream, he gagged my mouth. He held me down where i couldn't move and then he choked me until I passed out due to lack of oxygen. I didn't wake up until that morning with my mum waking me for school. I awoke in a panic and told her all about it. There were no signs of anyone breaking into our home or into my room. She said it was just a night terror but I know other wise.

Now I have been visited by plenty of shadows before and after that, and though, several have been frightening, none had used any physical force that I know of. Until recently. I want to say, two weeks ago, I had a dream that I was just woken up by my mum for school but I couldn't see. When I opened my eyes, I only saw t.v snow/static. There was a horrible screaming sound in my ears that no one else could here and I couldn't speak. I tried to scream but opening my mouth became impossible. I couldn't move and I was stuck in one position. When I "awoke", I was in my room, in my bed instead of my sisters room in a bed that doesn't exist anymore. I was still in the exact position I was held in and the pain and the noise was still still present. Though I know there are facts that contradicts the last dream, it was real. I may have been dreaming, but it was happening. I believe I was in that state of being asleep but being aware of what was happening to me. The reason I think this is because during the "dream" I couldn't see but I had out-of-body experiences to where I could see my body being tortured.

What do I do?
See a physician about it, but don't tell them you have hallucinations or "intruders" with it, just mention frequent "sleep paralysis" and a sense of panic with it. They'll give you a sleep study to make sure you don't have narcolepsy. I have sleep paralysis quite frequently and I too have been "visited". For me, it was aliens who dosed me with a strange otherworldly drug. It isn't real in the traditional sense, but more of a parallel reality in our own heads if that makes any sense. When you go into that state, these realities open up to us and we can experience things that exist but only to us. The intruder is a non-physical entity and cannot harm you physically in any way I assure you.
