IMO - I would YES.................... this is normal behavior for a lot of guys, even if they do like you - for they do not want to come across as being to needy or wanting just in case the girl does not feel the same way.

Hang in there and try to remain patient and in time he will call...... or he just might show up at your door step on Friday night assuming that you two had a standing date for he had already stated that he wanted to see you again - and on FRIDAY.
