Hi Huxley, sometimes feelings are feelings beyond any of the "rational" arguments they just are. So it's not a problem with your rational thinking, you can't always "logically" think yourself into being "
happy".
But sometimes actions can help just a bit. So if you're not ready to "just get on out there into the world and soak it up" perhaps just try to let
a little of the world come in to you. Even if you're only out there for half an hour, even if you're not
exactly enjoying it it's a start, it
really is something. Or if there's even just one little thing you can do out there this weekend, it's an achievement!!!
So
no "beating yourself up" about what you "should" be doing, if you're feeling bad there's no "should" about it. It's just about doing what you can!!
And you know it might help to talk about things too. A little understanding and support, can't be a bad thing, right?
