I would also congratulate you on six months sober. Unfortunately when I got sober the depression got worse. Maybe it is not the Zoloft but the alcohol that was working. For me that is how I treated my depression, drugs and alcohol. I can't possibly go back to that because it ended up disastrous. All I could do was stay sober and attack the depression but meds and therapy often were not near enough to keep me from having them.

I know exactly how you feel. You do something so good, and you should be proud, and yet it makes things worse. For me life without alcohol made things very real and in your face. I needed lots of help.

Klonopin .5mg twice a day, cutting this back
