I've been with my therapist for four years in individual therapy and now I only feel nervous on occasion. thankfully not on my way or waiting for him to come get me, but at home before I leave. Only if I think something will be very difficult on that day. I throw up and everything but that happens rarely now. It didn't use to happen in the first two months of individual therapy. then it happened more and more often. Then it decreased and now I'm feeling very comfortable with my therapist, which means I usually don't feel anxiety before my sessions. I also know why the increase and decrease in anxiety before sessions over time - I would definitely recommend to watch for changes in your therapy and maybe personal life. See if you need certain things to change in order to feel safe enough before session. Or if you can recognize any patterns as to when you feel more anxiety and when you might feel less. Thought I'd put that out there because it's made a difference to me.
