I didn't. It found me lol. The woman who is now my mother in law took my picture at work. Her son saw it on her phone and begged her to introduce me to him. We met and hit it off immediately. That was almost 8 years ago and we've been together ever since. I won't say it's all been peaches and cream. I'm bipolar and he's schizophrenic so there are some very tense times but we make it work. I won't lie to you there are times you just want to slap the crap out of the love of your life. Overall the good outweighs the bad and you find a way to coexist peacefully 
The funny part was I'd given up on love. I'd been with a guy(my uncle's best friend) for a few years and he was an alcoholic and it was just awful. Then I fell into bed with a friend of mine on the rebound. Then slept with another friend that was engaged (I know bad dog no biscuit) So since I wasn't making good decisions I took myself off the market and gave up. Then boom out of nowhere love found me.
