I've heard that bipolars can have tempers. Do you think this is true?

I am finding myself have a shorter and shorter fuse. I am not sure where this is coming from.

I was sweeping the vynil floor of our front room this morning and my partner reasonably said hey get that fuzz under the cabinet. And I snapped back with hot anger you don't like how I sweep you do it.

I was aghast over my out of no where anger.

I'm wondering why this hot anger is happening to me. It happens 4-5 times a week now. Ouch!

I get hot at the cat, at tv, at people, at simple requests, at store clerks. Gosh I don't like this about myself and it troubles me that it happens out of the blue.

I'm bipolar II and often in a lot of physical pain from fibromyalgia and arthritis.

Does this behavior happen to anyone else?

Yes, yes, yes...before I was medicated, I would really blow off the handle every 3 -4 months...like crazy angry...saying the most hurtful stuff. Now, I feel the urge, but I don't give in to it....I can fight it back.
