After having gone through my "addiction to the internet" period, staying away and then coming back, I've realized that the people you communicate with on the internet ARE "real." Just as "real" as anyone you can look in the face and talk to. We spend a lot of time typing to each other and seeing the responses on a screen, but the people communicating also have problems, strenghts, weakenesses, good times, feelings, fears, faith, insecurites, family and friends they can reach out and touch physically... and did I mention Feelings? Maybe we can't see the friends, soul mates and confidants while we're behind a screen, but they are just as real as those we have in 3D. I know
I'm real just as sure as I know
you are real.
