Having hot flashes and night sweats was hell until I got onto a combination of Paxil and Ativan (this was long before I was diagnosed BP). That way I slept through it all and was calmer. Thankfully it only lasted 5 years and was all over with by the time I was in my late 40s. Having BP and going through perimenopause is NOT fun. I wish you the best as you try to put things together.

Thanks so much for that. I've been doing a lot of research on this subject tonight and it's all making sense to me. It's all right there.
It helps to know what I'm dealing with and no it's not fun. This has been the worst part of my history with BP.
If I know what I'm dealing with than I can try to be as proactive as possible. I have options and I intend on utilizing them.
