Then he needs to get help. If he knows it, that's a start but he needs to do something more than just say 'i need help' . About the only thing you can do is encourage him to follow through with the help but once again for such an early phase in a relationship, I don't know how much is worth investing into this.

Also another thought is maybe you should take a break. let him get a grip on his issue, get help and then come back together to see if it's worth pursuing. It may even help him to have the motivation to get the help he needs.

In any case the way it's going if it's that much of a burden on the relationship, it's not going to get better without him doing something.
