I agree that its a hard problem to handle and that it may not be right morally for people to say they have dissociative problems when they don't...that said this website has a rule that we are not supposed to question whether someone has a mental disorder or not. here we are supposed to accept that what people are posting is as is...
there are options here for members to use if they come upon posts/posters that trigger them in some way (make them angry uneasy what ever) ...
the first one is report the post you are uncomfortable with and why. then the moderators will look at the post to see if that posting goes against the rules for this site.
the second is the ignore feature...that can be found by clicking on the posters name then click on user lists then add to ignore list. this will allow you to not have to see this posters posts. when you are reading posts it will show up as ...this poster is on your ignore list and then a link you must click in order to see that persons post saying remove this poster from your ignore list.
you can also pm members and moderators to talk with in chat or by pm.
I realize this problem may be happening on another website but thought you might want to know there are ways you can protect yourself from this here on psych central.
