There is a misunderstanding. I live in Europe and there are two kinds of Seroquel.

1. Seroquel (quetiapine)- film-coated tablets. - SEROQUEL 200MG/TAB F.C.TAB BTx60 (BLIST 6x10)
2. Seroquel XR Prolonged-release tablet- prolonged-release tablets - SEROQUEL XR 200MG/TAB PR.TAB BTx30

In my case I use the film-coated tablets.

1. Seroquel (quetiapine) Patient Information Leaflet says: • Swallow your tablets whole with a drink of water.

2. Seroquel XL Prolonged-release tablet Patient Information Leaflet says: • Do not split, chew or crush the tablets.
