I would also suggest teaching yourself CBT, cognitive behavioral therapy. To me it is similar to mindfulness which I would also suggest. There are lots of things on the net about meditation, mindfulness, and CBT.

Some people have some success with supplements.

Melatonin
Sam-E
L Methylfolate
St. Johns Wort
Others I can't remember at the moment

And herbs. You have to be careful with herbs and supplements as they can be like drugs.
