I see I know this drug as Lexapro. I took it for a good while. I can't remember how long, but I think I went off of it when my psychiatrist (pdoc)cut down on my antidepressants when he found out they could cause mania in bipolars like me. I am wondering if you need a higher dose.

I will check to see what the therapeutic dose is and be back.

Yep, 10mg once a day is considered to be the right dose. I agree that if another month goes by and you aren't feeling much better, to ask about weaning off the Lexapro and trying something else.

I guess your doc is glad to have you on something that's not causing side effects!
