I recently found my 10 year AA coin. The big brass coin I got when I had ten years sober. I have so many of those coins they lost interest and meaning for me. Stumbling on this one however struck a cord.
I decided to use it as a good luck piece as my daughter and I were about to drive across the country in my 190,000 mile car and I was having a lot of anxiety about it breaking down. She was anxious as well. So we both held the coin and rubbed it when we were anxious on the road. It worked and my car did great and we had a great trip. I credit the coin for this. It has the serenity prayer on it.
Also in the past I have used worry rocks a lot. Rocks have some meaning to me and I would find a cool little one and leave it in my pocket and rub it and play with it when I was stressed. It is grounding.
