- You need to improve your sleeping habits, and not go to sleep so late at night.
- You need to make sure that you don't sleep on your back because that increases the risk of getting a SP episode.
- Don't drink alcohol before going to bed this also greatly increases the risk
- If you get an attack just say "Jesus please help me" in your mind trust me it works, you will instantly wake up.
- Stay away from Ouija Boards and other things that are similar that means you are able to "go to the other side".
- Don't do look at things to do with dark magic or sorcery like doing curses on people ect.
I am going to be straight with you SP is demonic. They are taking advantage of your vulnerability and fear. They love your fear. When you say Jesus or anything to do with Jesus the tables will turn and they will get scared therefore the attack will end.
I really hope that you manage to get your SP under control.

You sir have been VERY helpful in your simple, yet profound solution... to call on Jesus to help me. I have had this off and on for the last decade. I found another way to get out of them (like you are walking and can't seem to move towards a table and chair - like last time this happened a month ago)... I said to myself recognizing I was in the middle of an episode in the dream which wasn't at all scary... just saw a table, a chair, a lamp turned over and a windowsill with sunlight coming in... I said "I need to go to the bathroom" and I woke up and that worked, but for how long this might work I don't know. Having to go to the bathroom is a physical response that wakes up the body to go urinate. But the better solution is to do what Jesus would have us want which is to ask for his help. He said, "I would go into anybody's house that welcomes me."
Next time this happens and I recognize it for what it is (a SP episode) I will call on Jesus because he will help me... I just have trouble believing my own faith sometimes and I'm Christian and a member of the United Methodist Church.
No religious offense to anybody here.
Blessings upon you,
