If I can pay my bills and have my basics needs met I am more content. I hesitate to say happy as I am a depressive and happiness is rare. Contentment is a good thing though and the relief of stress is a huge thing.

I believe it has been shown, and I agree, that once your basic needs are met money does not make you any happier. The rich are not any happier than anyone else. Obviously if a homeless person gets money they will be happier.

Watch the documentary "Happy" on netflix or it may be elsewhere on the internet.
