Dreams are a way of sorting out what has happened to us during the day. As such paranoid dreams probably reflect some of the fears you are dealing with on a daily basis. However, you have an awareness of your situation and are able to identify that this was a dream not real life so you are aware of the boundaries and that can only be good as you can manage these fears. Explain to your sex therapist how anxious you've been in the run up to this appointment, I'm sure (s)he will be able to lay your fears to rest.
