I have looked everywhere, in phone book, on the internet, for one near my home (60 miles) but I have not found any group of bipolar people who get together to meet. Meetings could be two times or one time per month. The group meetings would be free. I have and do take my meds as my doctor tells me to do, and they keep me going just right. I do not care to spend more money on a live group, but I have not even found a group that charges a reasonable fee. I live down south, in north Louisiana. Do any of you people attend such a group. I would think spending time with such people would be nice. I am 63 and only 1 1/2 year ago found out I had BP. I never have spent much time with people and only married at the age of 36. I also gave up all alcohol, smoking, or anything that might mess up my medication results:confused
