I didn't finish high school, my first high school was horrible and did nothing to try and help me, my lawyer suggested we sue them, and we won. This continued when I went to a different high school that did the same thing and we sued and won again. After that I tried with a different school and I was smart enough to do everything but just couldn't keep focused when left on my own to do work. Not to mention the stress and pressure of getting things done on time made it so I was so anxious that I ended up getting nothing done. Therefore my mother, me, and my therapist decided it would be best to stop and try the GED at some point.
Honestly I feel like I've learned MUCH more being out of school than I did when I was in high school. There, the whole time I was trying to focus on getting things done and handing it in so I didn't really absorb much.
Now I work on studying things I'm interested in like guinea pig/dog training, nutrition, behaviour, Japanese, reading, writing, computers, video editing, exercise, eating healthy, ect. I study more than I did in high school and actually find it fun rather than horrible and stressful.
I plan at some point to try and go to college now that I'm a bit better than when I was in high school.
