Have you tried NAMI (National Alliance for the Mentally Ill) or DBSA (Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance) websites? Both of those organization offer free support groups.

You can try to find a local NAMI group here: NAMI | NAMI Connection Recovery Support Group

DBSA here: Find a support Group - Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance

I attended a local DBSA group for a while, but there were more caregivers than people with depression or bipolar. They started another local group more for people with depression and bipolar, but I haven't gone.

There is also a Drop-in Center near me. It's also a free, non-profit. I am not sure how you'd go about finding one near you.

Hope this helps.
