I knew that my X suffered from an eating disorder when she was 19. I met her at 23 and married at 25.

I didn't really understand much about eating disorders. When stress, contention, and lack of control entered our marriage about six years later her AND my old habits came back.

I'm not trying to drag you down. But I wanted to offer this for consideration. If you are "fixed" and down the road a few years, when some trial hits your marriage what will you turn to in order to cope? or should I say who? Hopefully him. Hopefully, he will understand that the term "fixed" is a bit relative. Will he be there to support you if there is a slip...
