I've been on cymbalta for around 4 1/2 years now, and like @GGChar said above, it has been a lifesaver for me. I went from 2-3 panic attacks a day to 2-3 a month. This of course has also been supplemented with weekly therapy sessions.

I'm on 90mg a day as well, and it took about a month for it to start being effective, it is the one med (of many!) that I'm taking I don't want to get rid of. The thing I worry about most with this med is that I love it so much I may never be able to get rid of it!

All that being said, be careful with it. I get horrible withdrawal symptoms if I go for 36 hours without it, so if you ever want to stop, talk to your pdoc about it first and don't quit cold turkey! Also pay close attention to any side effects you feel and bring them up with your dr.

One last thing cymbalta helps me with my chronic pain and nerve damage issues, so that's another bonus for me! Good luck and I hope everything works out well for you
