How would I go about getting rid of rope burn quickly?
I had tied myself up last night and had some rope around my neck (YES, I know this is very dangerous, especially when you're trying to be Harry Houdini, but I've done a lot of practicing and seeing my limits on rope around the neck pressure. I always have scissors nearby in case anything happens, too).

I got out, put the rope away, and went to the bathroom only to discover a couple abrasions on the front near my throat and a long strip of mild but noticeable rope burn on the right side of my neck.

I went to bed and figured it would be gone when I woke up, considering I haven't had rope burn before. Nope. Looked in the mirror and it was still there.

Any way to get rid of it fast? I don't want my mom to see it.
