Fuzzy, IRL I have also found trust to be hard to do anymore. I'm not sure what it is that makes people want to walk over others without caring who they hurt. I have a lot of trust issues, too and like you I try to be a nice person and care about others. Sometimes I get hurt, sometimes I don't but I refuse to let fear keep me from trying to trust.
