Elavil is one of the old fashioned antidepressants, but somehow it is a powerful aid in PTSD night terrors. He started me out at 25 mg and worked it up to 75 mg, which was what works for me. It has made a huge difference in my quality of life.
I hope you can talk to your Dr. about it and he/she will give you a script for it.
