Hey Peg... (((hugs))) I understand, and agree for myself also in a way. What I had to do is redefine my definition of "friend." It was difficult at first...but then when I engaged in a logical discussion with myself I could allow this because this is a "new" avenue of technology... and there was no precedent in my life to have a "friend" such as I can have here.... so I created an allowance of a new definition... for internet "friends."

No, we aren't the same as IRL. But sometimes that's a better thing! I don't have to fear turning anyone down here because I don't feel like going out with them. I don't have to worry about taking their phone call (just because we're friends) IRL...
