Yes, the originator may take the thread off topic if they wish... but really, if it's too far off, we should begin a new thread.

Anyone who wishes to make an off topic post within the thread, while remaining in the general idea of things, should use OT either add it to the subject line for their post, or at the beginning of their post. (Such as above for this post.)

No one else should change the subject line, only to add or delete the "OT," or the author of the original post.
