I'm 26, and my mom's insurance was gracious enough to extend my coverage to the end of the calender year instead of kicking me off on my birthday. When I was an out of state student they covered my care (at a different rate than home, but still reasonable), but I am no longer a student and am likely moving across the country in a month for a job opportunity. This job will not offer health benefits. I'm just wondering if they're still required to cover me, or if I'm going to be without health coverage for 5 months, until when I can enroll in Obamacare.
