Hello soccergirl11, welcome to Psych Central.

I think you have great insight in putting your experience of when you were 3 as the possible reason for your fears. That must have been very scary for you at the time, not knowing or understanding what was going on.

I think also at the age of 15 it is normal to find talking about the lower female region as an embarrassing subject. Giving birth is a very intimate experience and though painful, there is a fantastic reward at the end of it.

If you feel the traumatic experience of the past is still haunting you, it might be worth talking to your doctor and getting some counseling for it. It's good to talk about it and it will take the fear out of it for you.
