I went to the wedding from hell last night. Everyone was drunk before the vows were read. I got to listen to people say come on have a drink it's a wedding. It was so white trash with all those guests drunk. People were loud, sweaty and making crude sexual jokes. I was embarrassed for them, and the people catering at the historic Inn were not amused. They kept saying oh looks like rain (garden wedding) trying to get us to just leave. They were very scared the party would move inside. The owner was very nice to me and got me some water. She was probably wondering why I was friends with these yahoos. We skipped the reception where the "real party" started. I woke up today just thinking a couple years ago I would have been the loudest and most rude one in the lot. I'm glad I stuck to water. I know a lot of people recommend staying away from that situation. I like to be around it on occasion just to remember I was worse than all of them put together.
