No, haven't spoken to my boss. No, there was no training and the reasons for not having access to a lot of tools is because District got into trouble last November, so now they refuse to share any of their tools with the temps in IT with the local colleges only the full time people have access to all the tools.

I was told the issues in the student center are a case by case situation, so having training to a number of different issues that can arise would have been difficult. My coworkers know I never worked in a help desk job in the past and told employer that my functional resume is based on what I have done at school when I was a student. I don't have any computer experience from any job in the past.

I was told of issues that can arise in the student center with the students on the computers. I forgot to mention I wanted to get more computer training before I was hired but going through the State to get the money was difficult doing all this crap for them. I wanted to go to through training schools, they are over a grand but the State would have paid for it if they didn't send me through a lot of hoops and loops! I never had a chance to get any training done on my own. I don't see that happening right now as I am gonna update my resume to find a 2nd job in the mornings and the evenings will be working at the school when the Fall classes start.

I spoke to my coworker doing call center (she doesn't know anything about computers) telling her what I have been feeling and so far that I wish there was training before I got put into the call center then the student center helping students, but there was no budget money.
