Depends on the size of the bathroom/shower Ours is not quite big enough and the two of us are big people ourselves. At night when we get up to pee, we don't close the door or anything, one person does just sit on the side of the bed and wait for the other, if we wake the same moment. I have had to get up in the middle of the night and come downstairs because I could not sleep and I've heard my husband call, asking me if I'm in the bathroom because I'm not in bed so he doesn't know where I am and doesn't want to walk in on me :-)
