I think about starting stuff all the time, I usually spend loads of money on the materials for whatever my next project is and then never get round to starting. My current projects are paint the hall and stairs, make curtains for two rooms, make cushions. Knit 5 sweaters, one pair of gloves, a stole.

I have two conflicting urges, the need for distraction and the desire for sleep, I can't concentrate on anything right now, so I sleep.

One day, I'll round up all the stuff I've bought and put a nominal value on each item, say £10 and work out how much money I've wasted I don't suppose it will cure me, but it will be shocking, however, the act of actually doing all that sounds like yet another one of my projects that will never happen.

So yes, I relate and like you I'll keep going round and around in the same old pattern.
